To edit your pages in html, via the web-based file manager go to:

Accept the secure server connection, if prompted.
Log in with your admin login and password
  • Click on "Files" from the left hand menu
  • Click on the text link for each directory "home" then "httpd" then "html"
  • Do not click on the folder icon, since this will show you properties of that directory, which you wont need to mess with.
  • Once you are in the "html" directory you may see web page files that you recognize. The index.html is the home page for the site.
  • Before editing a file you may want to download the current version to your hard drive by clicking the text link that is the name of the file, example: contacts.html. A window will pop up, click download and save the file to your computer.
  • To edit a file you click the pencil icon to the right of the file name. Be careful not to click the trash can, you can imagine what that will do.
  • You will now see a large text area in which the html of your page is displayed in plain text. You can scroll down to the area you wish to edit and save the changes when you are done. Unless you are sure of what you are doing, try to avoid changing any font or html tags in brackets <> when updating your text. Comment tags like the one below, may help you find the editable areas of text. Comment tags are invisible on the web view. <!-- BEGIN CONTENT BELOW -->
